Just got back from primary care doctor....

I have just not been feeling right the last few days..  well, it seems, not only do I have some virus affecting my lower gut and making bathroom times very frequent and very yuck, I also seem to have a sinus infection, and an ear infection.    I'm on an antibiotic, I'm on sudafed (which Dr. said was better than any prescription medicine and cheaper too!), and if my ear should happen to ruputure, I've got ear drop antibotics too.    (If it doesn't, and the build up hasn't gone down by Thursday, he is talking of going in and relieving the pressure. ewww)

So it isn't that I've been ignoring everyone, I get on and read posts, and think I should respond, but really I just end up going back to the couch or to bed...   I've not been exercising as much as I was, but I have been either walking or riding my bike some each day.

Now that I've got medicine, I'll be back into the swing of things soon, posting, exercising, etc....

I hope everyone stays healthy and warm (praying for snow and ice so I don't have to take sick days!!)

HUGS

Aw, man, sorry you're feeling crappy!  I will keep my fingers crossed there is no need to go in and "relieve pressure."  YIKES!!!

We won't guilt trip ya about IDGOMB exercise posts until you get over this bug.  Kinda hard to bike while dashing back and forth to the toilet!

Feel better soon and I'll keep my fingers crossed for snow and ice . . . SOUTH of Nashville, that is!

Hey Amy, I was wondering what was up with you because I have not seen you post for a couple of days. Hate to hear about everything going on with you, but glad you went to the doctor and are getting things taken care of. I hope the meds work for you and you get to feeling better real soon. Keep us posted on our you are doing.

Cheryl

Ooooh, sinus infections can kick you in the bum something wicked (says the woman who has had TWO sinus surgeries). Nowadays PCPs look for unexplained exhaustion as one of the prime symptoms of sinus infection, rather than the color of the goo from your nose. So pamper yourself. It can take a few days for the antibiotics to kick in.

ETA: and since you've already got diarrhea issues, be really vigilant about getting probiotics in. I take Pearls, they are small and easy, and I know some others who swear by Primal Defense Ultra.
